Bachelor graduation project

For my bachelor graduation project, we were given complete freedom to choose our own subject. I chose the morning as my theme, driven by a personal appreciation for this quiet part of the day and a fascination with how everyone has a morning routine that is rarely spoken about or shared.

Problem
Morning moments are often overlooked and seldom discussed, despite being rituals we all experience in our own way.

Insight
By observing and collecting different morning moments and translating them through my own personal experience, these intimate rituals can be brought into focus and given space.

Objective
To invite people to reflect on their own mornings and become more aware of the small, often unnoticed moments that shape the start of their day.

Creation
A collection of morning moments translated into poetic typographic texts, combined with image, video, and natural morning light. The work is rooted in my own morning ritual, where the curtain and the incoming light play a central role. Through the use of multiple projectors on fabric, these elements are brought together in an immersive installation.
